You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Substitute u=x%5E2,
x%5E4-6x%5E2%2B5=u%5E2-6u%2B5
x%5E4-6x%5E2%2B5=%28u-5%29%28u-1%29
x%5E4-6x%5E2%2B5=%28x%5E2-5%29%28x%5E2-1%29
x%5E4-6x%5E2%2B5=%28x-sqrt%285%29%29%28x%2Bsqrt%285%29%29%28x-1%29%28x%2B1%29
Not sure what you mean by the sum of the factors,
x-sqrt%285%29%2Bx%2Bsqrt%285%29%2Bx-1%2Bx%2B1=4x
or
sqrt%285%29-sqrt%285%29%2B1-1=0
