You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
9y^2 = 6y + 7  ====>

9y^2 - 6y = 7  ====>

9y^2 - 2*3y + 1 = 7 + 1

(3y - 1)^2 = 8  ====>

3y - 1 = +/- sqrt%288%29

3y = 1 +- 2%2Asqrt%282%29

y = %281+%2B-+2%2Asqrt%282%29%29%2F3.

Solved.

Hi, I'm not sure how to complete the square for the problem 9y^2=6y+7. Thank you so much!
9x%5E2++=+6y+%2B+7
You need to SUBTRACT 6y from each side to get:9y%5E2+-+6y+=+7
This is your starting point. Let no-one who seems to know NOTHING about math, or who continues to WRITE GARBAGE in response to people's math questions, tell you otherwise.
This NUT is ridiculous.
He's telling you to take the constant, move it to the left, and then he's going to tell you after to move it back to the right. What a character!!
BE FOREWARNED!!!
