SOLUTION: graph the solution set to the system of inequalities. x^2/36 + y^2/25<1 x^2+ y^2 > 4

That's the inside of an ellipse with center 
at the origin,
semi-major axis = a = 6
semi-minor axis = b = 5





That's the outside of a circle with center at the
origin and radius 2

Draw the ellipse and the circle both dotted, and
shade only the area between them. (Shade the doughnut
part only, not the hole)  :)
