Question 1088654: graph the solution set to the system of inequalities.
x^2/36 + y^2/25<1
x^2+ y^2 > 4

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%5E2%2F36+%2B+y%5E2%2F25%3C1
x%5E2%2F6%5E2+%2B+y%5E2%2F5%5E2%3C1
That's the inside of an ellipse with center
at the origin,
semi-major axis = a = 6
semi-minor axis = b = 5

x%5E2%2B+y%5E2+%3E+4

x%5E2%2B+y%5E2+%3E+2%5E2

That's the outside of a circle with center at the
origin and radius 2

Draw the ellipse and the circle both dotted, and
shade only the area between them. (Shade the doughnut
part only, not the hole) :)
