b) 24 females complete a job in 20 days working 8 hours a day.In how many days 10 females will complete the work for 12 hours a day?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will solve b) only.
In the first scenario, the rate of work is 1%2F%2824%2A20%2A8%29 of the work per hour for each female.
In the second scenario, the rate of work is 1%2F%2810%2Ax%2A10%29 of the work per hour for each female.
The rate is (assumed) the same in both cases, which gives you an equation
1%2F%2824%2A20%2A8%29 = 1%2F%2810%2Ax%2A12%29.
Or, equivalently,
24*20*8 = 10*x *12.
Hence,  x = %2824%2A20%2A8%29%2F%2810%2A12%29 = 32 days.
Answer.  In 32 days.
