You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[(3y^2-12) /(4y^2+4y+4)] / [(y^3-2y^2) / (Y^2+2y)]
Factor where you can:
= [3y(y-4) / 4(y^2+y+1)] / [y^2(y-2) / y(y+2)]
Cancel any factor common to a numerator and a denominator such as "y":
= [3y(y-4) / 4(y^2+y+1)] / [y(y-2) / (y+2)]
Invert the denominator and multiply:
= [3y(y-4) / 4(y^2+y+1)] * [(y+2)/ y(y-2) ]
-----------
Cancel any factor common to a numerator and a denominator such as "y":
--------------
= [3(y-4)(y+2)] / [4(y^2+y+1)(y-2)]
