You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. The tax increase is more than $7890.
Let "t" be the tax increase.
t > 7890
====================
2. Find the area of a triangle whose altitude is 7 feet and whose base is 22 feet.
Area = (1/2)(base)(height)
Area = (1/2)(22')(7')
Area = 77 sq. ft.
------------------
3. Four less than nine times a number is one hundred twenty-two. Find the original number.
Let the number be "x".
EQUATION:
9x-4 =122
9x = 126
x = 14
