Question 108726: Please help me solve this polynomial long division problem:
(2x-3)/(2x^3-9x^2+13x-6)
this is on a worksheet, not in a textbook.
thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2x goes into 2x^3, x^2 times ... x^2 times 2x-3 is 2x^3-3x^2 ... subtracting gives -6x^2
2x goes into -6x^2, -3x times ... -3x times 2x-3 is -6x^2+9x ... subtracting gives 4x
2x goes into 4x, 2 times ... 2 times 2x-3 is 4x-6 ... subtracting gives 0
so (2x-3) goes into (2x^3-9x^2+13x-6), (x^2-3x+2) times
