You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Question:
twenty-one tickets are numbered 1 to 21 and put in a box.If two tickets are drawn at random ,determine the probability that both are odd?

Solution:
out of 1 to 21, there are 11 odd and 10 even tickets.
Probability of first ticket will be odd = P(1st=odd)=11/21
For the second ticket, there will be 10 odd tickets left out of 20, so
P(2nd=odd)=10/20
The probability of both will be odd is the product of the two probabilities,
P(both odd)
=P(1st=odd)*P(2nd=odd)
=11/21*10/20
=11/42
