Solution
y1=9x ...........(1)
y2=5x-1..........(2)
y1-y2=2..........(3)
Substitute (1) and (2) in (3)
(9x) - (5x-1) = 2
=>
9x-5x+1=2
4x=1
x=1/4
Note:
assumied y1 and y2 are different variables, and not powers.
if y2 is meant to be y^2, please write it as such.
