if the sum of two numbers is 76 we have:
x%2By=76....solve for x
x=76-y......eq.1

if the larger number is 14 more than the smaller number, we have
x=y%2B14.......eq.2
from eq.1 and eq.2 we have
76-y=y%2B14
76-14=y%2By
62=2y
y=31
now find x
x=y%2B14.......eq.2
x=31%2B14
x=45
so, your numbers are: 31 and 45
