let angles be A,B,and C where Aand B are the base angles, and C is the vertical angle
the base angles are congruent (because we have an isosceles triangle); so,
A=B
each of the base angle is twice the vertical angle; so,
A=2C
B=2C
as you already know, the sum of all angles in triangle is 180 degrees

C=36->the vertical angle
