You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Let t = "How long until the mother catches up".

Then t = %28%2810%2A%2812%2F60%29%29%29%2F%28%28%2822-10%29%2F60%29%29.

The numerator %2810%2A%2812%2F60%29%29 is the distance between them when mother started move.

The denominator is their relative speed, in miles per minute.

So, t = %2810%2A12%29%2F12 = 10 minutes.

Don't follow with his lunch.
Teach him to wake up, and not forget it again.

He needs to lose some weight, anyway.
