Question 1085187: If a rock is thrown upwards with an initial velocity of 25 m/s from a cliff
that is 5 m above the ground, where h denotes height and t denotes time.
The equatin given for this relation is h = -6 t2 + 24t+5
a. How high is the rock after 3 seconds?
b. When will the rock reach a height of 29 m?
c. When will the rock reach the ground?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a. After 3 seconds: h=-6(9)+24(3)+5
Solve for h
b. 29=-6tē+24t+5
6tē-24t+24=0
Solve for t
c.When the rock hits the ground h=0, so:
6tē-24t-5=0
Solve for t
