Question 1084329: Which equation represents a line that is parallel to the line whose equation is y=3x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Need a slope of 3 in the y=mx+b form
-6x+2y=4
2y=6x+4
y=3x+2. That has a slope of 3 and is parallel to y=3x. All the others have a slope of something else.
If the slope is -3x, then 6x+2y=4 and 2y=-6x+4 and y=-3x+2
C is the answer for the question y=- 3x
