You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-0.1x+0.8x = 1000
x-0.9x = 1000
0.1x = 1000
x = 10000

His income is indeed: highlight_green%28matrix%281%2C2%2C+Rs%2C+%2210%2C000%22%29%29
However, the following that someone else has makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE, and DOES NOT EQUATE to an answer of Rs. 10,000.
x-0.1x+0.8x = 1000
x-0.9x = 1000
0.1x = 1000
x = 10000
I don't even know where 1,000 came from, and my 4th grader knows that x - 0.1x + 0.8x DOES NOT and will never EVER sum to 0.1x.
I really don't know what some people are doing in this forum, since they obviously cannot manage to provide correct help to SIMPLE, SIMPLE problems.
If you want the correct formulation of the problem, you can write back!
