Write the equation of a line in point-slope form that has a slope of 1/3 and passes through the point (-6, 0).
y = mx + b is point/slope form,
x = -6, y = 0, m = 1/3, substitute
0 = 1%2F3(-6) + b
0 = -2 + b
2 = b
therefore
y = 1%2F3x + 2 is the equation
