You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 3+log10x =2log 10y then x =?
Assume the problem is
3%2Blog%28%2810x%29%29+=+2log%28%2810y%29%29
log%28%2810x%29%29+=+2log%28%2810y%29%29-3
the exponent equiv
log%28%2810x%29%29+=+log%28%2810y%29%5E2%29-3%29
log%28%2810x%29%29+=+log%28%28100y%5E2%29%29-3%29
Subtracting 3 from a log is the same as dividing by 1000, can be written as
log%28%2810x%29%29+=+log%28%28%28100y%5E2%29%2F1000%29%29%29
Cancel
log%28%2810x%29%29+=+log%28%28%28y%5E2%29%2F10%29%29%29
therefore
10x = y%5E2%2F10
x = y%5E2%2F100
