You can put this solution on YOUR website!

let's say you originally have x dollars on your bank account

if you withdrew 1%2F10 of your original amount, it is %281%2F10%29x
if you have 80 dollars left, means
x-%281%2F10%29x=80.....solve for x
10x%2F10-x%2F10=80
9x%2F10=80
9x=80%2A10
9x=800
x=800%2F9
x=88.88888888888889
round it x=88.89->original amount
check:
x=88.89->original amount
%281%2F10%29x=%281%2F10%2988.89=8.89-> amount you withdrew
x-%281%2F10%29x=80
88.89-8.89=80
80=80

If you withdrew 1/10th of your account, then you should have 9/10ths of it left. So $80 represents 9/10th of what you originally had. Let your original balance be x. Then:
(9/10)x=80
.9x=80
x=80/.9
x=$88.89 as your original balance. ☺☺☺☺
