You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The perimeter of a rectangle is 64m, what are three possible measurements for the length and width?
2L + 2W = 64
Simplify, divide by 2
L + W = 32
Choose 3 pair of numbers that add up to 32
22 by 10
20 by 12
17 by 15
:
what is the area of these rectangles
22 * 10 = 220
20 * 12 = 240
17 * 15 = 255
Notice the closer it gets to being a square (max is 16 by 16), the greater the value
