SOLUTION: Could you please help solve the following, and find the value of 'x':
1.0165^x-((1.0165-1)/2) = 1.0074^x
I think the solution is through the use of logarithms. I have tried f

Question 1082676: Could you please help solve the following, and find the value of 'x':
1.0165^x-((1.0165-1)/2) = 1.0074^x
I think the solution is through the use of logarithms. I have tried for some time to solve it, and have searched the internet for guidance but cannot find anything that helps. It is the method I am particularly interested in understanding. Many thanks in anticipation. Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Assuming this is the problem
1.0165 - 1.0074 = .0091, therefore x has to be very close to 1, but I am not sure how you would calculate this, graphically
