^ does NOT mean "squared". ^ means "raised to the power of", and you have to supply number, as in "sin^2". You also need to provide an argument for your functions, such as or . Lastly, the standard abbreviation for the cosecant function is csc. Then, even if you had written your expression correctly and I'm going to go way out on a limb and assume that you meant:



There is nothing to prove. Did you leave out an equals sign somewhere? Did you leave out half of the problem? The whole thing makes no sense.
