72 men x 100 days=7200 men in one day, or 1 man does 1/7200 of the job per day. Let n be the number of days 80 men work, and n+70 be the number of days only 50 me worked. Then:
So:
80n/7200+50(n+70)/7200=1
80n+50(n+70)=7200
130n=3700
n=day 28.4615 is the time when 30 of them were fired. ☺☺☺☺
