1 inch = 7.5 feet

if you divide the number of fee by 7.5, you will get the number of inches.

if 7.5 feet, then 1 inch.
if 15 feet, then 2 inches.
etc.

16 feet / 7.5 = 1.133333..... inches.

this is equivalent to 2 + 2/15 inches.

23 feet /7.5 = 3.066666..... inches.

this is equivalent to 3 + 1/15 inches.

on the map, the floor will be 2 and 2/15 inches by 3 and 1/15 inches.
