You can put this solution on YOUR website!
speed on bike is x mph
distance is x*t, where t is in hours
0.75x+0.25x*0.25=6.5
0.75x+0.0625x=6.5
0.8125 x= 6.5
x=8 mph bike for 3/4 hour=6 miles
walking at 2 mph for 1/4 hr=0.5 miles
total is 6.5 miles
