x^2 + y^2 = 769
x^2 - y^2 = 481
----------------------
Add and solve for "x":
2x^2 = 1250
x^2 = 625
x = 25 ft (side of the larger square)

Subtract and solve for "y"::
2y^2 = 288
y^2 = 144
y = 12 ft (side of the smaller square)
