Question 1077272: Hi can someone help me with this problem please? THANK YOU!
Find a decimal approximation (to four decimal places) for unit circle point that is on the terminal side of the following angle in standard position. Hint:use the definitions of the circular functions.
Theta=251degrees

a.(-0.9455,-0.3256)
b.(0.3256,0.9455)
c.(0.9455,0.3256)
d.(-0.3256,-0.9455)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
theta=251%5Eo+ ==> angle terminates in Q3
All of the points are on the unit circle. However, only (a) and (d) are in Q3.
The x-coordinate is +r%2Acos%28theta%29+, and r=1 for the unit circle:
cos%28251%5Eo%29+=+-0.3256+ —> (d) is the answer.
