You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A rectangular tank with given measurements is filled with water to a depth of 16 cm.
---
Tank measurements H-22cm, W-20cm, L-40cm
---
Volume of tank = H*W*L = 22*20*40 = 17600 cc
Volume of water = Depth*W*L = 16*20*40 = 12800 cc
Space in tanke = 17600 - 12800 = 4800 cc = 4.8 liters
----
When an additional 5 liters of water is poured into the tank, some water overflows. How many litters overflowed?
------------
5 - 4.8 = 0.2 liters

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume is 22*20*40=17,600 cm^3 total, or 17.6 liters
Present is 20*40*16=12,800 cm^2 or 12.8 liters
Pour in 5 liters and there would be 17.8 liters, so 0.2 liters or 200 ml/cc would overflow.
