I think that you need to check your figures again. If Nan's train left earlier and it travelled at a faster speed than Peg's train that left 1.5 hours later, there is NO WAY that Peg's slower train will ever catch up. That's like the tortoise vs. the hare race when you give the hare (the faster runner) a head start.
