Question 1075722: A survey of households in the United States reveals that 96% have at least one television set, 98% have telephone service, and 95% have telephone service and at least one television set. What percentage of households in the United States have neither telephone service nor a television set?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .96 have a tv set, and .98 have phone service. So .96+.98=1.94. And .95 have both, so 1.94-0.95=.99 have either a tv set, phone service, or both. That leaves 0.01, or 1% that has neither. ☺☺☺☺
