pd: I know how to solve this but in order to find ^p i need to find first the x, which was not given in the problem . thats what i basically need help with.

If you ask 34 men if they watch football games, you need to know how many said yes (or no). Without that, you have no point estimate and cannot calculate the number. If they don't give you x, you can't solve the problem. What you can say is what the number has to be in order to be considered different from 50%, but that is not answering the question asked.
With that number, you can determine what the margin of error of the estimate will be, but you still won't have an estimate.
