Another way to do it is:

We ask ourselves:

1064 is how many more than 800?

To answer that we subtract 1064-800 and get 264 more.

Then we ask ourselves:

What percent of 800 is 264?

We divide the "IS" number 264 by the "OF" number 800
and get 0.33, then we change that to a percent.

33%
