You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You pay $165 (15*11) for the pies.
Each pie has 8 slices, and you sell each slice for $2. That is 8*$2 or $16 per pie.
$16 per pie*15 pies=$240
You paid $240 or them
$240-$165=$75 profit
----------------------
Checking it: 8 slices per pie at $2 per slice is $16 per pie which you paid $11 for. That is $5 profit per pie.
There are 15 pies.
$5*15=$75 profit

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
PROFIT=REVENUE-COST

Choosing the most obvious variables
REVENUE, r=15%2A8%2A2
COST, c=15%2A11
PROFIT, p=r-c------and then simply substitute and simplify.
