Question 1074816: The volume of a cylinder whose height equal to x – 3, is modeled by the polynomial function x^3 – 11x^2 + 26x – 6. Find the circular base area of the cylinder.
I was thinking maybe start doing synthetic division, but I'm really not sure. And if it is just a synthetic division problem, what do I do after that?
Thank you so much

You can put this solution on YOUR website! If you do synthetic or polynomial division, the quotient is x^2-8x+2, and that is the base area of the cylinder. If you multiply that by (x-3), you get the cubic function above.
The problem doesn't ask for the radius or anything more than the area.
