You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formula is:
Paycheck_sum = Base_salary + Commission_percent * Amount_of_sales
3882 = 2100 + 0.044 * x
0.044 * x = 3882 - 2100
0.044 * x = 1782
x = 1782 / 0.044
x = 40500
The month amount of sales was $40500

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let +x+ = amount of sales for the month
[ paycheck ] = [ base salary ] + [ commission rate x amount of sales ]
+3882+=+2100+%2B+.044x+
+.044x+=+1782+
+x+=+1782%2F.044+
You can solve ( can't find calculator )
