You can put this solution on YOUR website! If a dealer had sold a stereo for N600(naira), he would have made a 20 percent profit. Instead, the dealer sold it for a 40percent loss. At what price was the stereo sold?
Correct answer: According to another person's response, itw's sold for 1,000.
How can he sell it for N600 and make a 20% profit, but if he sells it for 1,000, he loses 40%? Does this make sense? I think not!! Not in a million years!
