Question 107072: I can't seem to figure out how to express f(x) in complete factored form. Here is the problem:
express f(x) in complete factored form
f(x)=x^3+6x^2+7x+42

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=x^3+6x^2+7x+42
f(x)= x^2(x+6)+7(x+6)
pulling (x+6) out as a factor
f(x)= (x+6)(x^2+7)
this is all we can factorise
