You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the number of no-balls in the match be 'x'. Then, the number of bye runs is '2x'
the remaining score is greater by six than twelve times the number of bye runs.
Remaining score = 12(2x) + 6 = 24x + 6
Total score = Remaining score + Bye runs + No-balls
Substituting the values, we get:
276 = 24x + 6 + 2x + x
Simplify
276 = 27x + 6
270 = 27x
x = 10
no-balls in the match is 10. Therefore, the number of bye runs is 20.
Total score = Remaining score + Bye runs + No-balls
Total score = (12 * 20) + 6 + 20 + 10
Total score = 276
hitting the ball: 246
bye runs: 20
no-balls: 10
