You can put this solution on YOUR website!
LET X BE THE FIRST EVEN NUMBER & X+2 THE LARGER EVEN NUMBER.
(X+2)=2X+20
X+2=2X+20
X-2X=20-2
-X=18
X=-18
PROOF
-18+2=2*-18+20
-16=-36+20
-16=-16

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = greater of two
x-2 = smaller of two
x = 2(x-2) + 20
x = 2x - 4 + 20
x = 2x +16
x = -16
-16, -18
