How do you find x?
I did
+%28x-2%29log12=20
+x-2=+%2820%2Flog12%29
+x=+%2820%2Flog12%29%2B2
x=20.5326816

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First off, you have to take the logarithm of both sides:
12^(x-2)=20
log 12^(x-2)=log 20
(x-2)log 12=log 20
x-2=log 20/log 12
x=(log 20/log 12)+2=3.20557135368 ☺☺☺☺
