Question 1068965: Could someone please check these, I am not sure if I understood them correctly.
I should solve the equation and check my solution (and of course show my work).
Problem: 6x-7= 11
My Answer:
7+11= 18
6x= 18/3
6*3 = 18-7 = 11
Problem: 9y-3(y+4)=18
My Answer:
y = 5
9*5 - 3(5+4)=
45 - 3*9 = 45-27 =18
Problem: 9-3w=2+4w
My Answer:
w=1
9-3*1=2+4=1
Problem: 3.5x-1 = -1/2(-7x+2)
I don't know how to do this problem, could someone please help me with it?
Problem: a/5 = 45/15
My Answer:
45*5 = 15*a
45*5/15 = 15*a/15
22*5/15 = a
Problem: 4/d = 2/6
My Answer:
2/4 = 2
2 * 2/6 = 12
d = 12
Problem: r-3/10 = r/13
I tried doing this one but didn't really understand how it works, maybe someone could explain it to me?
I would be very grateful if someone could look over this for me, since I am not sure if I actually understood and did each problem correctly. Thank you!

1st, that's not a problem, it's an equation.
"Solve for x" is the problem.

7+11= 18 this is true, but ...
6x= 18/3 this is not true.
6*3 = 18-7 = 11 this is not true either.

6x-7 = 11
Add 7 to each side
6x-7 + 7 = 11 + 7
6x = 18
Divide by 6
x = 3
