You can put this solution on YOUR website!
d = q+6
0.10d+0.25q = 2
0.10(q+6)+0.25q = 2
0.10q+0.6+0.25q = 2
0.10q+0.25q = 2-0.6
0.35q = 1.40
q = 4 so she has 4 quarter and the problem says she has 6 more dimes than q:
4+6 = 10 she has 10 dimes
-----------------------------------------------------
Check:
4 × 0.25 = 1
10 × 0.10= 1
Total . . 2 Correct
