Question 1067849: Two angles are supplementary if their sum is 180°. The larger angle measures thirty degrees more than twice the measure of a smaller angle. If x represents the measure of the smaller angle and these two angles are supplementary, find the measure of each angle.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the smaller angle = x
then the greater angle = 2x + 30 ... ... ... (Given)
x + 2x +30 = 180 degrees. .... (Supplementary angles)
3x + 30 = 180 degrees.
3x = 180 - 30
3x = 150
therefore x = 150/3 = 50 degrees.
Smaller angle = 50 and
Larger angle = 130 degrees.
I hope this is clear to you.
