Question 1066136: A product costs $7 for 20 lbs. How much is that in cents per ounce?

I have worked this problem every way I think I can I just am missing a step somewhere. I can not come up with the proper answer!!! I know there are 16 oz in a pound and also 100 cents in a dollar. I still am having troubles. I just don't want the answer I want to know what step I am missing!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
$7/20 lb = 700 cents/(20*16 oz) = (700/320)(cents per oz) = 2.1875 (cents per oz)
