After reading 3/4 of a magazine on Sunday, 0.2 of the remainder of the magazine on Monday and 10 more pages on Tuesday, Billy still had to read 42 pages to finish the magazine. How many pages did he read on Sunday?
----
Sunday:: read 3/4x ; remainder = 1/4x
Monday:: read 0.2*0.25x = 0.05x ; remainder = 0.25x-0.05x = 0.2x
---
Tuesday:: 0.2x = 42 pages
x = 420/2 = 210 pages
---------------
Ans: Sunday = (3/4)x = (3/4)210 = 630/4 = 157.5 pages
