Benjamin is 36. How old is Edward?
Aparemtly the answer is 48, but why?

For me, all the senses in this post are reversed from the legs to the head.
And the first thing that I can not understand from this condition, is:
who is older, Benjamin or Edward ?

No, you didn't understand me. The things are worse.
1. From this phrase "Edward is as old as Benjamin used to be . . . " I conclude that Benjamin is older than Edward.
2. From this phrase ". . . when Edward was as old as Benjamn is now." I conclude that Edward is older than Benjamin.
The conclusion is that everyone is older than the other.
Strange ? Or NONSENSE ??
