Question 106486: I need help I am adding and subtracting polynomials and I get it and I understand the steps on problem is I have come across a question that I dont 0understand okay this is the problem is
(12x^2y^2z^3+2+24x^2-(-2x^2y^2z^3+24x^2)okay so i did the first step i removed the parenthesis from the first part. Now im stuck i need to distrubute the minus sign threw out the parenthesis by changing the signs to there oppisites but i dont know if like for example where it says -2x^2 i know i change that to 2x^2 but then theres 2y^2 and i dont know if im suppsosed to change the sign of that or is that just one term and i leave it alone because my next step is to seperate and combine like terms anyways im confused if you could please help. You can put this solution on YOUR website! (12x^2y^2z^3+2+24x^2) - (-2x^2y^2z^3+24x^2)
= 12x^2y^2z^3+2x^2y^2z^3 + 2 + 24x^2-24x^2
= 14x^2y^2z^3 + 2
