You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The center of the window should sit on the center of the room.
C%5Bw%5D=75%2F2=37%261%2F2
C%5Br%5D=%2817%2A12%2B5%29%2F2=209%2F2=104%261%2F2
So at the center of the room, place a ruler and place a mark 37%261%2F2inches to the left at X where,
X=104%261%2F2-37%261%2F2=67in
.
.
.
X is the position of the left side of the window.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the center of the wall
+17%2F2+=+8.5+ ft
+.5%2A12+=+6+ in
and
+5%2F2+=+2.5+ in
+6+%2B+2.5+=+8.5+ in
----------------------
The center of the wall is at 8 ft 8.5 in from the edge
----------------------
Find 1/2 of the width of the window
+75%2F2+=+37.5+ in
+37.5%2F12+ = +3+ ft + +1.5+ in
-------------------------------------
Now subtract 1/2 of the width of the window from
1/2 the width of the wall
-------------------------
+8+-+3+=+5+ ft
+8.5+-+1.5+=+7+ in
--------------------
The left edge of the window is 5 ft 7 in from the
left edge of the wall
--------------------
Also, the right edge of the window is 5 ft 7 in from
the right edge of the wall
--------------------------
check:
5 ft 7 in + 5 ft 7 in = 11 ft 2 in
and
+75%2F12+ = 6 ft 3 in
and
11 ft 2 in + 6 ft 3 in = 17 ft 5 in
OK
