x and y are dimensions. One is length and the other would be "width". Pick whichever you want as the larger dimension.

y-x=6
Perimeter description: 2x%2B2y=60
Equivalent to x%2By=30.

Solve the system system%28x%2By=30%2C-x%2By=6%29. The Elimination Method may be the easiest way.
