Now, the first phrase says: "My dog has twice the age of my cat"
So, how old is your dog now ?

Comment from student: Hi Ikleyn, thanks a lot, but I dont understand.....that is the question in this exercise...how old is your dog now??

My response: OK, this problem is, actually for the 2 grade students, I think. The solution is as follows:

1. Since, "5 years ago, my cat was 5 years old", the cat is 5+5 = 10 years now.

2. Since "My dog has twice the age of my cat", the dog is 2*10 = 20 years now.

3. In two years the dog will be 22 years old.

That's all.
