My response: OK, this problem is, actually for the 2 grade students, I think. The solution is as follows:
 
 
1.  Since, "5 years ago, my cat was 5 years old", the cat is 5+5 = 10 years now.
2.  Since "My dog has twice the age of my cat", the dog is 2*10 = 20 years now.
3.  In two years the dog will be 22 years old.
